Are you an experienced Construction Project Coordinator ready for more ownership and broader exposure?
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Coordinator, looking to step up with strong construction and development experience who wants to expand their exposure working for the owner/developer
Ideally, you’ll come from a Construction Management firm or self-performing developer, with hands-on experience delivering multifamily rental apartment or condominium projects. You’ll already understand the construction side and be ready for a role that gives you greater involvement in pre-construction, procurement, approvals and development.
Joining an established real estate owner and developer, you’ll work closely with senior Development and Project Management professionals and gain exposure to the decisions that drive projects from early stages through construction and delivery.
What You’ll Be Doing

Coordinate project schedules, milestones, reporting and key deliverables.

Assist with building permits, utility connections and municipal construction approvals.

Track project financials including contracts, committed costs, change orders and invoicing.

Coordinate consultant and Construction Management RFPs, tenders and bid comparisons.

Review architectural, civil and construction drawings, identifying inconsistencies and potential issues.

Support projects throughout pre-construction and active construction.

Work closely with Construction Managers to review schedules, procurement, costs, risks and overall project execution.

Coordinate consultants, project meetings, documentation and communications.

Proactively identify potential issues and help drive solutions before they impact cost, schedule or quality.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll be an experienced Project Coordinator or Senior Project Coordinator with a strong understanding of the construction process and the confidence to take on greater responsibility.
Highrise residential construction experience is essential, ideally gained on rental apartment and/or condominium projects.
You’ll ideally bring:

3+ years of relevant construction/project coordination experience.

Experience working for a Construction Manager, General Contractor or self-performing developer.

Strong knowledge of multifamily residential construction.

Good understanding of pre-construction, tendering, procurement and active construction.

Ability to read and understand architectural, civil and construction drawings.

Experience with project schedules, cost tracking, change orders and tender reviews.
-
Knowledge of municipal construction approvals would be an asset.
The Package

$80,000–$100,000 base salary, dependent on experience
