An integral member of the management team, the VP of Finance will report directly to the President.
We are looking for an individual with substantial business acumen, and at least 10 years of professional experience in finance and accounting, focusing on real estate and real estate investments
The VP of Finance will have direct experience in managing the accounting and finance for pre-development projects in residential, industrial and senior living asset classes along with a strong understand in how to manage relationships with banks and lenders, present to key partners and have a strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis of investments. You will need to be skilled in negotiation, tax structures and be a strategic planner who can deliver outstanding and accurate results.

Daily duties will include, directing and overseeing all aspects of the Finance, accounting and administration function related to the finance and investment strategy of the Group. Direct all Financial reporting and analysis of the real estate holdings. Structuring of Real Estate investments completing all financial, tax and legal due diligence on every investment. Collate and report on financial information for Joint Venture Partnerships, Land Financing, Construction Financing and other related matters. Provide leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives. Ensure credibility of the investment group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts. Assessing the need for realty tax appeals and apportionments. Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/ strategies and regulatory action. Manage and complete the financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting to the Company. Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting. Maintain an excellent understanding of the various markets including values, lease rates, sales pricing.
